The Twisted Peel is a micro-bar, situated opposite the Priory in a grade II listed building. In more normal times, the Twisted Peel specialise in mixology, offering classic cocktails and drinks with a bit of a twist. They also offer premium coffee, hot drinks, cakes and treats.
Currently , The Twisted Peel are offering their artisan graze boxes, which is what we’re trying out for this installment of At The Table.
We ordered one of the large graze boxes, priced at £27.50. This got us a selection of cheese and crackers, cured meats, olives, homemade chutney and hummus, cherry tomatoes, pork pie and grapes. All the food included in the graze boxes is locally sourced where possible and it all looked exceptional when delivered, presented in a lovely kraft box.
The food was all fresh and delicious and there was plenty enough for two of us to have a full plate each.
Delivery was safe and covid secure. We ordered our box the day before – the cut off for orders for the next day is 10pm so be sure to order in time if you want to try it yourself!
With Valentine’s Day coming up, this graze box from The Twisted Peel makes for a delicious treat to share with your partner or loved one, or maybe just yourself! Large boxes pre-booked for Valentine’s Day include a bottle of wine too, perfect for a night in! The selection you recieve is lovely, and there is a vegetarian option available too.
We were really impressed with our graze box and we certainly look forward to visiting The Twisted Peel for some drinks when the restrictions allow.
For now, we would certainly recommend one of the graze boxes. To order, simply visit The Twisted Peel website – www.thetwistedpeel.co.uk
